Presented in 1970, it is based on a design study by Bertone and quickly became a symbol of Italian engineering.

A 2.6-liter V8 with 200 hp, derived from the Tipo 33 racing engine, works under the hood. The sound is unique — rough, metallic, spirited. There is also a 5-speed manual transmission, rear-wheel drive and almost perfect weight distribution. Technically sophisticated and stylistically distinctive, the Montreal remains a real collector's item.
