The 911 Turbo presented by Porsche in 1974 was the first production sports car in which Porsche installed a turbocharger. As a top-end Porsche model, it was the fastest series vehicle produced in Germany until 1989 and immediately became an icon in the motor world.
In particular, with the 3.3 liter engine, which was enlarged from 1979, in combination with the intercooler installed in series vehicles for the first time (originally used in airplanes), the 911 Turbo received its final touches. With its explosive acceleration and typical turbo sound, the 911 takes every companion back to the 70s and 80s in an inimitable way, like a time machine.
As the absolute top model in the world-famous 911 series from Porsche, the Porsche 911 Turbo (initially known as 930 Turbo) embodies everything the brand has stood for for 90 years — sportiness, innovation, quality and German engineering. In addition to the turbocharger, the 911 adopted numerous design elements from the 911 Carrera RS 3.0 racing car and thus brought racing power to road traffic. Its main distinguishing feature, the large rear spoiler, gave the 911 Turbo an unmistakable appearance and left no doubt about its performance. But not only with its appearance, but also with its pioneering design, the 911 Turbo was able to shape automotive history.
Performance (qualitative)
The prices for 930 Turbo have been put into perspective over the last year and have fallen more like the entire market, with a few exceptions.
reason for that? Number of pieces!
In my opinion, the high number of units (18,000) of the 930 Turbo (the Pagoda is also a good example) is the reason for the volatility in the market at the moment.
You can see that the standard colors, thousands of which exist on the market, are liquid but no longer achieve the prices of a year ago. However, the vehicle, its legendary status, its 50th birthday last year and its market presence have not changed, but are stronger than ever. There is simply too much supply of “standard turbos” on the market to achieve high prices. With the pagoda, my approach was that if we buy so cheaply, then you can't go wrong. Here is the approach of buying one of the best specs on the market and thus standing out from everyone else on the market. America doesn't sleep and anyone who wants an offer to stand out in this crowd must reach up on the shelf. In my opinion, it barely gets higher than Sahara Beige, and the condition is also excellent.
If you want a 930 Turbo, you will definitely want ours... it will allow you to go to market with a significant premium in a few years.
